Manchester United vs. Arsenal
Old Trafford, 16:00GMT

It's simple for Arsenal. They must win this game to have any hope of salvaging something from their once so promising season. Last time the Gunners came to Old Trafford, they found themsleves on the wrong end of a 4-0 spanking in the FA Cup - arguably a turning point in their season. This being said, revenge is a dish best served cold, and Arsene Wenger knows all about to passion and controversy of this fixture in the league. The champions can also rest assured the Arsenal will be fired up for this one.
Much has been made of Arsenal's "title-squandering run or form", but the dramatic win over Bolton seemed to have installed new belief into Arsenal, until last week. 3 failured against Liverpool - capped of by a heart-breaking UCL exit has left Arsenal's season in tatters. Arsenal have won just 2 of their last 12 games in all competitions.
Manchester United struggled to a point against 'Boro last week but, as everyone who saw the game knows, it could have been worse. The drive and determination of the champions sees them in high spirits ahead of this tie, knowing just how crucial it is to pile the pressure onto Chelsea, and finish off Arsenal once and for all.
United's form in the League is bettered only by Chelsea. They recently recorded a huge result against Roma without too many problems, and are widely believed to be playing the best football in the country. Man Utd have lost just one game in their last 13 in all competitions.
Arsenal will be without Mathieu Flamini and Bakary Sagna. Robin van Persie is thought to be a likely starter.
Manchester United have Rio Ferdinand fit for this game, and Patrice Evra is also likely to come back. Rooney and Ronaldo will both come back in after mid-week rests. Gary Neville is not expected to be handed a start just yet, whilst Nani, Flethcer and Saha are all sidelined.

Everything points towards a United victory, and the occasion will prove the biggest obstacle.

Prediction:

Manchester United 2 : 1 Arsenal
